<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braid-consolidated hollow fiber membrane with high pressure resistance even in high pressure liquid, keeping the form of the membrane, causing no dimensional change in an organic solvent liquid of high temperature, and securing dimensional stability of the membrane. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the braid-consolidated hollow fiber membrane formed with an activated layer on the surface of the tubular braid, the braid is formed by mixing and braiding metallic wires and polymer fibers. The hollow fiber membrane can be used for a separation process in a high pressure owing to its pressure resistance, used for separation of the organic solvent at high temperature owing to its dimensional stability, and also is applicable to various application fields owing to its conductivity.
