The canopy top (15) has multiple air chambers (16), which are filled with compressed air for closing or unfolding a canopy. A front plate (17) defines the canopy at a front side and a rear plate (18) defines the canopy at a rear side. The canopy is connected to a wind guiding frame (13) of a windscreen (12) by the front plate, and to a roll bar (14) by the rear plate. A connecting point is integrated in the front plate or the rear plate for compressed air supply. An independent claim is included for a motor vehicle with a roof.
