<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly maintain a moisture content in a sheet even if a storage period of the sheet is long to suppress a conveying failure of the sheet or an image forming failure to the sheet caused by the excessive reduction of the moisture content, and to stably output a high-grade printed matter. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet feeding device 80 is provided with a lifter plate 23 arranged in a sheet storage case 4 to stack the sheet 7a, and air heater 14 and a fan 11 for blowing heated air to the sheet 7a stacked on the lifter plate 23.
