<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing control device for performing efficient printing control, by fully ensuring the processing operation of a CPU in particular, relating to a memory access control device for use in storing a plurality of pieces of color data into a memory via a line buffer. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The memory access control device used in a printer, or the like includes: an inputting means for inputting color data of a plurality of colors; a first FIFO (First-In First-Out) memory for storing the color data received from the inputting means for each color; a second FIFO memory for storing data accompanying a CPU access; and a control means for writing data from the second FIFO memory to a storing means, at a cycle at which color data is written in the storage means from the first FIFO memory, and reading data from the storing means out to the second FIFO memory, at a cycle at which the color data is read from the storing means to the first FIFO memory.
