PURPOSE:To improve the heat resistance and transparency by setting a thermosetting monomer and/or an oligomer in a polymer tube which can be swoller or be dissolved with a solvent then taking the setting body out of the polymer tube by using a solvent. CONSTITUTION:At least the thermosetting monomer and/or oligomer is set in the polymer tube which can swell or be dissolved with the solvent, then the setting body is taken out of the polymer tube by using the solvent. In such a case, the thermosetting monomer and/or oligomer is preferably a radial polymerizing monomer or oligomer which has plural ethylene unsaturable carbonhydride groups at a molecular terminal, specially, a monomer or oligomer or their mixture containing a di(meth)acrylate compound and/or diacryl compound as an essential component. Consequently, the plastic fiber which has superior chemical resistance, solvent resistance, and heat resistance and also has high transparency is easily manufactured. |
