<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detecting device which determines any abnormality in a computed rotation angle with simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: This rotation angle detecting device 1 is provided with: a signal output device 13; and a rotation angle operational equipment 14. The signal output device 13 outputs two sine wave signals different in phase by 90 degrees each other depending on rotation of a rotary shaft 10. The rotation angle operational equipment 14 computes the rotation angle from these two sine wave signals. There is a correspondence relation between the two sine wave signals and the rotation angle, and therefore, the rotation angle is determined to be normal or not by previously-setting this relationship as an expected value to compare those two sine wave signals and the rotation angle with this expected value. Thus the rotation angle is computed, while detecting any abnormality in the computed rotation angle is detected in a simple configuration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
