<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alignment system and its method capable of aligning a display panel and a three-dimensional filter so as to adaptively quantify the degree of alignment in a state where the display panel is not driven. <P>SOLUTION: The alignment system of three-dimensional display devices includes: a pair of display panels displaying a left eye image and a right eye image, on the edge of which each alignment mark is formed; a plurality of three-dimensional filters are formed on transparent substrates on which retarders for converting light of left eye image into first polarization light, and light of right eye image into second polarization light; alignment marks of a plurality of three-dimensional filter side are including retarder patterns formed on the transparent substrate of the three-dimensional filters on the edge of the same and reflectors formed on the retarder patterns; and a vision system for photographing each of display side alignment mark and the three-dimensional filter side alignment marks. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
