PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition which gives a vibration-insulating rubber having good ordinary state physical properties such as rubber hardness and failure characteristics and good durability and also having a low dynamic factor, and to provide a vibration-insulating rubber having the above properties obtained by using the vibration-insulating rubber composition. SOLUTION: The vibration-insulating rubber composition comprises (A) a diene rubber and (B) a butadiene polymer containing 1,3-butadiene monomeric units as rubber components and (C) carbon black as a filler. The component (B) has a cis-1,4 bond content in the 1,3-butadiene monomeric units as measured by the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy of 98.0% or more, a vinyl bond content of 0.3% or less, and a ratio (Mw/Mn) of the weight average molecular weight (Mw) to the number average molecular weight (Mn) of 1.6-3.5. The carbon black (C) has an iodine adsorption of 10-70 g/kg and a DBP absorption of 30-180 mL/100g. The mass ratio of the component (A) to the component (B) is 40:60 to 80:20.
