The device, particularly interlocking device, has a valve shaft (1) that stands in connection with a valve disk (8) by a controllable interlocking mechanism. Actuators have actuator elements (12), and are mounted in housing or in a component of a cylinder head of an internal-combustion engine transverse to the valve shaft or a locking pin (4). The housing is fixed at the internal combustion engine. The actuator elements contact the free end of the locking pin by rotary motion.
