摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for a vehicular internal combustion engine, the device appropriately correcting fuel addition quantity even right after change of target bed temperature, and appropriately controlling catalyst bed temperature by controlling slippage of catalyst bed temperature caused by variation of fuel addition quantity. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic control device 50 makes temperature raising control for supplying unburned fuel component to an emission control catalyst 31 and raising catalyst bed temperature by adding fuel to exhaust gas based on addition quantity set based on target bed temperature Ttrg. The electronic control device 50 calculates measured bed temperature Tmes, based on downstream side exhaust gas temperature Tlow detected by a downstream side exhaust gas temperature sensor 33, and also calculates a supposed bed temperature Tsup, based on addition quantity Q and upstream side exhaust temperature Tup detected by an upstream side exhaust gas temperature sensor 32. When the measured bed temperature Tmes is higher than the supposed bed temperature Tsup, addition quantity Q is corrected to be reduced.
