The receiver is configured to receive a plurality of high-speed shared control channels (HS-SCCHs), wherein the plurality of HS-SCCHs are received over a plurality of discrete time intervals. The processor is configured to instruct the receiver to receive all of the plurality of HS-SCCHs during one of the plurality of discrete time intervals.
