<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode assembly and a secondary battery which can ensure the maximum safety of a battery within a range that battery performance is not reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode assembly includes: a first electrode; a second electrode; and a separator including a porous membrane made of a ceramic material and a polyolefin group resin membrane; where a thickness of the porous membrane is 4 to 6 μm, a thickness of the polyolefin group resin membrane is 12 to 16 μm, and the porous membrane and the polyolefin group resin membrane are located between the first electrode and the second electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
