<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure contact drive device capable of reducing damage caused by erroneous operation. <P>SOLUTION: In a partial gear 3 to which the rotation drive of a circular gear 2 is transmitted, the rearmost end gear tooth 31a of the engaging part 31 of the partial gear 3 is shaped so as to be shorter than the other gear tooth of the engaging part 31. The engagement with the circular gear 2 and partial gear 3 is made easy to separate from each other in the case of erroneous operations such as deterioration when performing an improper operation so as to reduce the rotation transmission function or to rotate the circular gear 2 to a tooth jump position, and reduces excessive weight or a load applied to the circular gear 2 or partial gear 3 or the like, thus reducing damage to various parts of the driving system such as the circular gear 2 and the partial gear 3 in the pressure contact drive device 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
