摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard thin film coated bearing structure in which a shaft surface or a bearing surface is coated with a hard thin film, and oil is directly supported between the shaft surface and the bearing surface and the deterioration of performance is hardly caused. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This hard thin film coated bearing structure in which oil is directly supplied between sliding surfaces (between a free shaft 33 and a free shaft housing 23) and a shaft surface and/or a bearing surface is coated with a hard thin film such as a DLC thin film is formed by machining the shaft surface (an outside surface) of the free shaft 33 and/or the bearing surface of the free shaft housing 23 into a shape wherein a bearing gap in a position separated at a distance from an oil outlet of a free shaft 31 becomes wider. By this structure, a function for positively discharging fine particles supplied between the sliding surfaces is given to the hard thin film coated bearing structure.
