<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate for planar light-emitting device which can realize a means for reflecting light incident from a side face efficiently and at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A light scattering pattern 3 of grid shape and dot shape or the like for scattering light incident from the side face of a light guide plate body 4 to the front of the light guide plate body 4 is formed on a thin reflecting sheet 2 by printing by a paste ink.
