<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly determine the propriety of permitting use of a data in a storage device of a transferred side image processing apparatus, when moving a storage device between the image processing apparatuses. <P>SOLUTION: A serial number and apparatus structural information of a transferred side image forming apparatus are stored in a USB memory, in the transferred side image forming apparatus. A transferring side image forming apparatus reads out the apparatus structural information of the transferred side image forming device, from the USB memory (step S35), reads out the apparatus structural information of the transferring side image forming apparatus, from an nonvolatile memory (step S36), and determines the propriety of permitting the use of the data of an HDD in the transferred side image forming apparatus, based on the pieces of apparatus structural of both appartuses (step S37). The serial number of the transferred side image forming apparatus is read out from the USB memory (step S39), when permitted (step S37:YES), to be stored in the HDD (step S40). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
