<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulating device for an air conditioner installed inside a vehicular instrument panel for reducing noises generated from a blower of an air conditioner unit and reaching the ears of an occupant. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner for a vehicle is structured so that the blower, a temperature regulating unit, and an air-conditioning duct leading from the temperature regulating unit to the cabin are installed in the space bounded by the instrument panel and a dash panel, the vehicle being characterized by that a sound insulating panel is installed for isolating the blower spatially from the air-conditioning duct.
