PURPOSE:To obtain the sealing parallelism between electrode plates by allowing the spacer powder having been suspended in a gas dispersion medium precipitate on electrode deposition surfaces thereby spraying and disposing spacers here and there even on the effective display face portions of the liquid crystal display devices. CONSTITUTION:Spacer powder 3 is supplied into a dispersion chamber 1 through a filter 2 by meams of compressed air 4 and the quantity thereof is contrplled by a vibrator 5. The powder 3 is evenly dispersed and suspended in air within the chamber 1 by a propeller 6. This air is led into a precipitation chamber 7. In the chamber 7, the electrode plates 8 with their electrode deposition sides being faced upward are supplied by a conveyor 9 and within the specified time when the plate 8 passes in the chamber 7 the power 3 precipitates on the plates 8 by the desired quantity. The concentration of the powder 3 in the chamber 7 is measured with a dust counter 10 and the measured values are used for control signals for concentrations. The air from the chamber 7 is exhausted as exhaust air 13 through a dust collecting chamber 12 by means of an exhaust fan 11. |
