<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, in checking or testing, contact with a terminal other than a target terminal, a ground bar or a casing to prevent a power supply circuit from being short-circuited or grounded, and to perform checking or testing operation quickly with ease, by modifying the mechanism itself of achieving conductivity with a terminal. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An alligator clip that holds each terminal t to be connection checked or tested of a control device includes an upper side clip piece 2 and a lower side clip piece 3, both of which are formed of an insulating material. The lower side clip piece 3 includes a holding portion 7 that catches the terminal t and a disengagement prevention portion 8 that is formed at the tip end side next to the holding portion 7. In the lower side clip piece 3, a conduction member 4 is provided to freely move along the length direction, and to the tip end side, of the lower side clip piece 3.
