<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the installation operation of a module without stopping a service system as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 20 included in a printing system to be achieved by a plurality of functions is provided with: a print request acceptance part 21 for accepting a job from a client, and for registering it in a spooler 31; a job execution part 23 for, when a module corresponding to a function to be used by an execution target job is under the execution of installation, starting the execution of the job after the end of the installation of the module; and an installation control part 26 for, when the job using the function to be achieved by the installation-instructed module is under execution, starting the installation of the module after the end of the execution of the job. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
