PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin composition for an engine cooling water-system component capable of manufacturing a rigid molded article being more excellent in a low water-absorption property and a dimension stability as compared with a conventional nylon-6 based composition, being excellent in chemical-resistance, hydrolysis-resistance, impact strength and the like, having little reduction of a material characteristic, especially less stress crack, having a wider moldable temperature range than the polyamide resin composition using a 1,9-nonanediamine simple substance as a diamine component, being excellent in melt moldability, and capable of further attaining a high molecular weight. SOLUTION: In the polyamide resin composition for the engine cooling water-system component containing the polyamide resin (A) and an inorganic filler (B), a dicarboxylic acid component of the polyamide resin (A) comprises oxalic acid, a diamine component comprises 1,9-nonandiamine and 2-methyl-1,8-octanediamine, and a molar ratio of 1,9-nonanediamine and 2-methyl-1,8-octanediamine is 1:99-99:1.
