PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-polyimide complex having excellent adhesion to a metallic foil without resulting in reduced glass transition temperature, increased linear thermal expansion coefficient, increased hygroscopic expansion coefficient, and increased elastic modulus; and to provide a polyimide resin and polyamic acid varnish composition producing the same.
