PURPOSE:To make it possible to transmit even audio information, etc., while preventing the conflict of transmitted information by making the transmission medium of a decentralized control type switching network into one completely-passive line, and by making reservations in packet transmission. CONSTITUTION:Mode switch 3 sends out a pulse indicating the start of a reserve mode and while terminal station 4 with information to be sent out makes reservations, the transmission order in execution mode for packet transmisison is assigned. After reservations of all terminal stations end, mode switch 3 sends an execution pulse indicating the start of the execution mode and terminal station 4 having taken reservations in corresponding reserve mode sends constant-quantity packets of information in the assigned order. Referring to the destination address of the address part of a packet, a receiving terminal station takes only its own packet in. |
