<p>The invention relates to a communication apparatus which can prevent an erroneous or illicit transmission of a transmission manuscript, whatever the transmission destination may be. When an other party for which the transmission is instructed by an operation and display section (15) is set to be "permitted" in a transmission permitted other party information table (33), a manuscript is read by an image reading device (13), and the read data is correlated with the instructed other party and is stored in an image storage device (19) together with the other party. The instructed other party, administration information of the read manuscript and information of the first page of the read manuscript are printed out as a transmission confirmation table. When an administrator ID inputted by the operation and display section (15) matches any of administrator IDs in an administrator information table (31), the transmission confirmation table is read, and the read data stored in the image storage device (19) including the same administration information as that in the read transmission confirmation table, is transmitted to the other party correlated with the read data.</p> |
