A method for generating an identity identifier of a key, includes that: when a user's end (UE) is transferred from an Evolved UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network (EUTRAN)into a Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (UTRAN) or a Global System of Mobile Communication, or an Enhanced Data Rate for GSM Evolved Radio Access Network (GERAN), a transferred identity identifier of the system is generated by mapping the identity identifier KSIASME of a key of an access security management entity, and a mobile management entity generates an identity identifier of an encryption key (CK) and an integrity key (IK) by mapping the KSIASME, and then sends it to a service General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) supporting node (SGSN), then, when the UE is transferred into the UTRAN from the EUTRAN, the SGSN stores the encryption key, the integrity key and their identity identifier, and when the UE is transferred into the GERAN from the EUTRAN, the SGSN makes the value of the identity identifier of the encryption key of the GERAN equal to that of the identity identifier of the encryption key and the integrity key. |
