A syringe needle guiding apparatus (4) which comprises a monitor (3) for creating an image of a blood vessel (9) which can not be viewed by eyes of a person and a syringe needle (10) inserted into the human body, thereby allowing recognition of the three-dimensional positional relation between the blood vessel (9) and the needle (10). The blood vessel (9) is seen through using near-infrared rays and the needle (10) which is inserted into the body and cannot be seen through is reproduced in a virtual image. Thus, a virtual composite image of the blood vessel (9) and the needle (10) is displayed on the monitor (3). In the image, the target (88), direction, and distance (12-A) of insertion of the needle (10) and the angle (12-B) of the needle with respect to the blood vessel are displayed to allow the three-dimensional recognition of the positional relation between the blood vessel (9) and the needle (10). |
