The render reinforcement, particularly for use with plaster, comprises a wire mesh to which a number of backing wires are connected with an absorbent layer sandwiched between the two. The wire mesh preferably has a rectangular mesh with crimped portions that extend away from the main plane of the mesh and to which the backing wires are secured with spot welds such that in use the mesh is positioned at a distance from the wall and the absorbent layer. |
