PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of at least fuel gas outward by supplying sealing gas to at least the fuel gas passage side where the end of an electrolyte plate and the end of a partition are joined. CONSTITUTION:Seal grooves 9 are installed in the upper and lower sides of both ends of a partition 6, where they are joined with an electrolyte plate 1. Each groove 9 is connected with a connection passage 10, and N2 gas is supplied to each groove 9 through the connection passage 10 from an N2 gas supply source 11 at a specified pressure. N2 gas is supplied to an outside direction and to directions of oxidizing gas 4 and fuel gas 5. Therefore, oxidizing gas 4 and fuel gas 5 are prevented from leakage outward. |
