<p>An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus is provided with an ultrasound probe (1), a unipolar drive circuit (2), a pulse generator (3), a calculation unit (5-11), and a display unit (12). Driving in a mode A and driving in a mode B are enabled. The pulse generator supplies a repetitive pulse train which is n times a small code string (1, 0) to the unipolar drive circuit in the mode A and supplies a repetitive pulse train which is n times a small code string (1, 1) to the unipolar drive circuit in the mode B. Such a control that a signal obtained by adding to a received signal obtained by receiving a reflected wave of an ultrasound wave in the mode A by the calculation unit a signal delayed by a time period corresponding to a code component "1" of the small code string (1, 0) and the received signal in the mode A which is not delayed and subtracting a received signal in the mode B from the signal obtained by the addition is outputted is possible. Thus, the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus capable of transmitting two types of ultrasound waves by using one unipolar drive circuit can be provided.</p> |
