A low voltage (e.g. 48v) conductive polymer heating system capable of providing all or part of the heating requirements necessary to provide heating for a variety of end uses comprises a conductive polymer incorporated into the intestacies of a fabric 1, busbars 2 formed of conductive strips being provided and connect with push fit connectors 3 via a fuse 5 to a low voltage supply 4. A flexible film may be laminated to one or both sides of the fabric which may include a reflective element. The polymer may include carbon, graphite, polypyrolle, polyanaline, carbon nanotubes, polyethylene dioxythiopnene, polystyrene sulphonate or a combination of these. |
