<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein handling for aligning its inclination is difficult since it is necessary to install a shell-type LED on a printed circuit board by inclining it at approximate 45° in a light source device in which a plurality of shell-type LEDs are arranged at right and left two rows in an opposite direction and the shell-type LEDs are arranged by inclining at approximate 45°, mounted conditions of the shell-type LEDs are largely varied, uniformity of light is also bad, the number of shell-type LEDs becomes many causing high costs as they are arranged at two rows. <P>SOLUTION: In the light source device, the plurality of chip-shaped LEDs are arranged at a pitch P at even intervals, ball lenses with an approximate diameter P are fixed among the chip-shaped LEDs, and a luminous flux of the chip-shaped LED is irradiated through the ball lens at an angle of approximate 45°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
