<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of and an apparatus for extruding/supplying a rubber member, in each of which the extruded rubber member can be supplied continuously according to a speed requested in a succeeding process while reducing the amount of the rubber member to be stored in a buffer part without changing a cross-sectional shape of the rubber member. <P>SOLUTION: A combination of the head pressure P, under which the cross-sectional shape of the rubber member R can be kept constant, with a drawing speed V of a drawer roll 8 is inputted preliminarily in a controller 11 to correspond to a rubber member supply rate to a molding drum 13 in the succeeding process. The amount of the rubber member R, which is extruded from an extruder 2 and stored in the buffer part 9, is detected by sensors 10a, 10b, 10c and the controller 11 controls on the basis of detected signals so that the combination of the head pressure P and the drawing speed V is made coincident with the preliminarily-inputted one and the rubber member R is supplied to the succeeding process neither too much nor too little. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
