The system has a headlight lamp (4) e.g. H11 lamp, and a holder (2) that are assembled by insertion of a lamp section in the holder and by rotation of the lamp around a longitudinal axis. A lamp marker (14), an insertion marker (18) and an end marker (20) are provided for marking an insertion position at the beginning of rotation of the lamp and an end position at the end of the rotation of the lamp, where the markers are provided as color symbols. The lamp section and the holder exhibit a bayonet-closure, which defines the insertion position and the end position with mechanical stoppers. The lamp section is formed of a socket (10) and a lamp bulb.
