<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider for a fastener which can be attached to a packing bag equipped with the fastener, is comparatively simple in structure, can be attached also from the end of the fastener, facilitates the manufacturing of a resin molding die, and can be easily molded of a resin. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The slider 1 for a fastener is composed of a male engagement member provided in the mouth portion of the bag body, and having a ridge portion on one inside and a female engagement member having an engagement groove into which the ridge portion is disengageably engaged on the other inside. The slider 1 is made up of one slider member 2 having a protrusion 2A separating the male engagement member and the female engagement member of the fastener F and the other slider member 3 having a constricted portion 3C engaging the male engagement member with the female engagement member.
