PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device conducting a label switching type routing in a fiber channel network. SOLUTION: A technique for carrying out a label switching on the basis of the specific characteristics of the fiber channel network is provided. A mechanism as a tunneling passing through a network supporting no traffic engineering, security and fiber channel frame can be carried out by using the label switching.
