Disclosed is an entry sheet for drilling characterized by the facts that the hole position accuracy is excellent and the drill damage rate is low since little resin is attached to the drill. More specifically, disclosed is an entry sheet for drilling made of a copper clad laminate formed by laminating and integrating a water soluble resin composition (B), which contains 0.1-5 parts by weight of one or several water soluble substances selected from the group of polyhydric alcohols, amino acid derivative alcohols, organic acids, and organic acid salts with respect to 100 parts by weight of a water soluble resin mixture (A), in the water soluble resin mixture (A) composed of 80-98 parts by weight of polyethylene glycol having a number average molecular weight in the range of 15,000-35,000 and 2-20 parts by weight of polyethylene oxide having a number average molecular weight in the range of 50,000-200,000, on at least one side of a metal foil having a thickness of 0.05-0.5 mm.
