PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current-carrying material, as the material applicable to a current collection member of an SOFC (Solid Oxide Fuel Cell), free from the problem of Cr poisoning, having satisfactory surface electrical conductivity at high temperatures and also having excellent high temperature oxidation resistance.
SOLUTION: The current-carrying material has a metallic material with a liquidus temperature of ≥1,000°C such as carbon steel and alloy steel in a base material and has a high temperature conductive oxide film with an average film thickness of 0.1 to 20 μm comprising 1 to 20 atomic% Fe and also satisfying Cu+Fe: ≥80 atomic% in a composition other than O (oxygen) and C (carbon) in the surface. The high temperature conductive oxide film can be formed by a method in which Cu and Fe are sputter-coated, e.g., in an oxygen-containing evacuated atmosphere.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
