<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst layer transfer sheet for manufacturing a catalyst layer/electrolyte film junction body with both excellent hydrophilicity and water repellency. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst layer transfer sheet has a gas and liquid permeating layer formed on either surface of a backing sheet and further a platinum-containing catalyst layer formed on the permeating layer. The permeating layer has both a hydrophilic region and a water-repellent region. By transferring the catalyst layer of the transfer sheet onto a solid electrolyte film using the catalyst layer transfer sheet, a catalyst layer/electrolyte film junction body having both excellent hydrophilicity and water repellency is manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
