<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-shaped article having flexible feeling without damaging durability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sheet-shaped article is constituted of a nonwoven fabric obtained by interlacing fiber bundles of ultrafine fibers having 0.3-7 μm average single fiber diameter, and an elastic resin binder consisting essentially of a polyurethane present in the inner spaces thereof. The polyurethane has a structure represented by general formula (1):-NH-COOR (wherein, R is a 3-15C aliphatic hydrocarbon group or alicyclic hydrocarbon group in which the carbon atom directly bonded to the oxygen atom is a secondary or tertiary carbon) at the molecular terminal.
