<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce ventilation resistance in a defroster mode, and to prevent cool defrosting in a foot defroster mode. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A case side guide 32 fixed in a case 11 is formed to be protruded from a foot opening 22 side to an air mixing section 19. A door side guide 33 fixed in a rotary door 25 is formed to divide the space inside the rotary door into two layers of a first space 34 on rotary shafts 25a, 25b side and a second space 35 on a door surface 25c side. The case side guide and the door side guide overlapp at least in parts thereof. In the defroster mode, a hot air passed through a hot air passage 18 passes through the first space 34 and flows in the air mixing section 19. In the foot defroster mode, the hot air passed through the hot air passage 18 passes through the first space 34 and flows in the air mixing section 19, and the air mixed in the air mixing section 19 passes through the second space 35 and flows toward the foot opening 22.
