CONTROL CIRCUIT OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control circuit of a liquid crystal display device and a liquid crystal display system, reducing power consumption of the liquid crystal display device and suppressing decrease in the luminance of a displayed image. SOLUTION: The control circuit is provided with: a current reduction rate setting circuit 11 that analyzes an original grayscale of pixels included in an inputted image signal D1 and sets a current reduction rate in accordance with the height distribution of the original grayscale; a light emitting element control circuit 12 that controls a driving current of a light emitting element 211 in accordance with the current reduction rate; a grayscale varying circuit 13 that varies the original grayscale in accordance with the current reduction rate to set a display grayscale and generates a display image signals D2 by replacing the original grayscale of the inputted image signal D1 by the display grayscale; and a liquid crystal panel control circuit 14 that sets the transmittance of the liquid crystal panel in accordance with the display grayscale of pixels included in the display image signals D2.
