SOUND SOURCE SURVEY INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE:To easily and accurately search and measure the sound pressure distribution of the sound sources in the sound source object of a complex sound by amplifying the signals from the sound source object by using input signals from a reference sound detector provided opposite to a specified sound source position as amplification degree control signals. CONSTITUTION:A reference sound detector 180 is provided opposite to a portion that generates noise to be sampled and measures the sound in the portion to convert the sound to electric signals. By amplifying and phase-adjusting the input sound pressure signals of the reference sound detector 180 by an amplification degree control signal generator 181, amplification degree control signals are generated. By inputting the amplification degree control signals to the control terminals of amplifiers 18a and, based on the amplification degree control signals, amplifying the signals received by microphones 8a, the information of sound pressure distribution in the position wherein the reference sound detector 180 is oppositely provided is obtained and displayed on a display 19 as a sound image.
