<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal driving device capable of reducing the degradation of luminance in the whole display screen even when a specified color pixel has a high gradation upon the adoption of enhancement of the specified color. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal driving device 100 includes a liquid crystal controller 107 and specified color extension processing circuits 105, 106. The liquid crystal controller 107 produces a liquid crystal driving signal supplied to a liquid crystal display panel 12 in correspondence with display data. In the specified color extension processing circuits 105, 106, an image output signal of a gradation enhanced by a prescribed coefficient 304 from an image input signal of a low-luminance specified color is produced, and an image output signal of a gradation enhanced by a small other coefficient 308 from the image input signal of a high-luminance specified color is produced. The image output signals properly enhanced by the specified color extension processing circuits 105, 106 are supplied to the liquid crystal controller 107 as display data.
