PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a currency processing system that easily manages who performed a depositing/dispensing operation, and completely prevents a bank clerk from performing a wrong or an unauthorized operation. SOLUTION: The currency processing system includes a currency processing body machine and a currency processing terminal machine configured to communicate with each other. The currency processing terminal machine includes a storage box in which currency is stored and kept, a lock device which switches the storage box between an open state wherein currency can be put in and out and a lock state wherein current can not be put in and out, and an unlock signal reception unit which receives an unlock signal for controlling the lock device into the open state.
