PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message communication processing method capable of communicating a message with a telephone number as a destination by allowing one communication terminal unit to use the telephone number of a main line and that of a subline set for the same subscriber identification information while suppressing an increase in the communication traffic between the communication terminal unit and a communication network, and to provide a message communication processing system and a communication terminal unit. SOLUTION: When a subline identifier is added to the telephone number of the destination set in the message received from the communication terminal unit at a transmission side, the telephone number of the subline of a communication terminal at the transmission side is acquired based on the subline identifier and the telephone number of the main line set in the message, the telephone number at the transmission side set in the message is rewritten from the telephone number of the main line to that of the subline, and the subline identifier added to the telephone number of the destination set in the message is deleted.
