PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce jaggies of a design formed by printing in a printer for instrument boards comprising an inkjet device. SOLUTION: The printer for instrument boards comprises a control unit for controlling the printing of a design so as to print a design formed on the surface of a substrate constituting an instrument board in the shape of dots and the inkjet device which relatively moves in the XY directions relative to the substrate and prints the design in the shape of dots on the surface of the substrate on the basis of the command from the control unit. The control unit controls printing to form the design on the surface of the substrate as a printing design in the shape of dots having a first resolution so that the outline of the design may cross the XY directions. In addition, the design is formed on the surface of the printing design in an overlapping manner as a complement printing design in the shape of dots having the first resolution by displacing the design in a predetermined amount in at least one direction of the XY directions.
