METHOD FOR EXAMINATION OF ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE

Disclosed is a method for examining the occurrence of Alzheimer's disease.  The method comprises the following steps (1) and (2): (1) a measurement step of measuring the quantity of lidocaine or a product of the metabolism of lidocaine in a cerebrospinal fluid collected from a subject who has been administered with lidocaine; and (2) a determination step of determining whether or not the subject is suffering from Alzheimer's disease based on the quantity measured.
