<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an internal combustion engine capable of preventing deterioration of a combustion state when operating an auxiliary means. <P>SOLUTION: The controller for an internal combustion engine is suitably applied to an internal combustion engine equipped with a turbo supercharger, and the auxiliary means for assisting rotary driving force of a turbine by supplying gas to the turbine of the turbo supercharger. The controller for an internal combustion engine is equipped with a control means, and in the control means, an amount of gas to be supplied to the turbine by the auxiliary means is set less than a predetermined gas amount until passage of a predetermined time from acceleration starting. For example, the gas amount is set at an amount of a degree not causing misfire due to assisting by the auxiliary means. By this, when carrying out assisting by the auxiliary means, increase of internal EGR due to a reverse flow of exhaust gas to a combustion chamber can be suppressed, and deterioration of the combustion state in the combustion chamber can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
