<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that it is said that conventionally active hydrogen-containing drinking water is drunk so that active oxygen generated in a living body is made into water, is made harmless, however, recently evil influence caused by drinking active hydrogen water is pointed out. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An aqueous solution of humus precursor having antioxidant ability and containing a mineral in an amount determined in accordance with properties of raw water of drinking water is added to the raw water of drinking water, mixed with stirring, allowed to stand for several hours to provide the raw water of drinking water with antioxidant ability to give drinking water having antioxidant ability.
