The nozzle device (10) has an outlet opening (14) for producing a stream of medium (16) in the outlet chamber (20). An impact element (22) is arranged in the downstream of the outlet opening, and inflows from the stream of medium for shape modification of the medium beam. A shape and arrangement of the impact element are covered in the outlet chamber, such that a shape of the stream of medium is directly changed. An independent claim is included for a method for supplying a medium in an exhaust gas stream of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle.
